Four Star Winery Rating - Seventh Great Pinot Noir Classification 2014, Matthew Dukes & Tyson Stelzer"
"Dog Point Vineyard is a specialist Marlborough wine producer since 2002. We insist on low cropped vines and hand-picked fruit whilst adhering to an organic regime. Our philosophy is to produce regionally distinctive wines that will drink well now and age gracefully for many years." - Dog Point
"The Sutherland and Healy families are making some of Marlborough’s most exciting wines. They admit their stylistic preferences are what drive their approach. After all, they must be able to like to drink what they make! The Dog Point wines, especially the whites are very contemporary and complex, and they are bold in their showing of the sophisticated incorporation of reductive and minerally elements. I find this style particularly suits the ‘Section 94’ Sauvignon Blanc and the Chardonnay, and indeed I regard these wines among the finest of their style for this country. Over the years, the ‘regular’ Sauvignon Blanc has shown similar expression, but Dog Point are very careful to draw a line so that the wine remains fruit expressive, rather than allowing inputs to have a dominating role." - Raymond Chan, 2017
