The Lindemans Coonawarra Limestone Ridge Vineyard Shiraz Cabernet is sourced from 35 year old vines on the acclaimed 24 hectare Limestone Ridge Vineyard, named because it is located directly above a ridge of Limestone which forms the 'backbone' of Coonawarra's famous Terra Rossa strip. The soil depth is particularly shallow over the Limestone base and results in an exceptionally well-drained, low yielding vineyard. The resulting wine is a Coonawarra classic, with rich, peppery fruit, superb structure and exceptional ageing qualities.
