Home Hill

Latitude isn't everything but it sheds some light on why our grapes produce such fine wine. 43 degrees is where the Huon valley and the Bordeaux of France lie on the map of the world. We both have a maritime climate and our rain fall seems to be quite similar. The grape varieties Home Hill grow are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sylvaner. The collection of wines produced from the Home Hill Vineyards and Winery are Pinot Noir Reserve, Pinot Noir, Sylvaner, Unwooded Chardonnay, Reserve Chardonnay, Sparkling Cuvee and a late harvest Sticky. We are proud to say that the Pinot Noir 2000 won the Trophy for best wine at the 2002 Cowra Wine Show and earlier in the day, it picked up the gold for the best Pinot Noir.www.homehillwines.com.au
