Tasmania's oldest winery!
Synonymous now with the futuristic gallery (MONA) that has taken up residence on its Hobart site, it's worth remembering that Moorilla is the oldest winery in Tasmania, planting vines in 1958. As well as making Tassie's first wine, Moorilla's original owner created Sheridan textiles - just one of MANY surprises in the history of Moorilla.
"Our winery, founded in 1962, focuses on a small, very high-quality output. From estate-grown fruit, our ultra-premium wines are made using small-batch winemaking techniques in our gravity-assisted winery." - MONA/Moorilla
