"Very attractive developed red cherry, apricot, herb garden aromas and flavours. Lovely dense wine with mid-palate volume and richness, underlying roasted chestnut notes, fine lacy tannins and integrated acidity. Minerally and long. Very good.

"Moorilla Vineyard’s location and growing conditions tend to produce a heavier, more robust Pinot noir, which we embrace, while still aiming for levity and balance in the finished wine. The 2015 Pinot noir is a fine expression of this, with a medium-red colour (and the faintest tinge of purple), and an elegant, vital tension between deeper, earthy notes (kola, chocolate, dark cherry) and an almost ethereal top end (red summer fruit in particular)."
