Featuring a bottle of 2019 Yangarra Kings Wood Shiraz.
"Incredibly vibrant deep purple colour in the glass. Subdued nose, dark loam and black fruits lurk with intent. Remarkable poise for such a young wine, dark fruits, blood and ironstone all meld seamlessly. Full of palate yet has a feeling of compression from acid and tannin so it pushes very deep and long. Time will provide even further layers and complexity." - Stuart Knox, The Real Review
"Spicy, curry leaf and black fruits, coffee and tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, again quite savoury and spicy, a little ferrous, fresh blackberry and tobacco, slightly too brisk lemony acidity, though does have energy, and a firm finish of olive leaf and black fruit." - Gary Walsh, Wine Front
"Sourced exclusively from Block 12 (2.3 ha) which sits on an east facing, ironstone sandy outcrop. Hand-picked, 25% whole bunches and the remainder mechanical berry sorted. Cold soaked in open fermenters and plunged to ensure colour and tannins are infused into the wine. Wild yeast fermented. No pressings are used in this wine. Exclusively matured in 25hL French oak Foudre for 15 months." - Yangarra
