The vineyard has been established progressively since 1988; the recent introduction of an array of single-vineyard Rieslings has been a highlight. The venture into the single-vineyard wines is driven by Judi’s conviction that terroir is of utmost importance, and the soils are indeed different. The climate is not, and the difference between the wines is not as clear-cut as theory might suggest. The Isolation Ridge Vineyard is now organically grown.
