Wine Front 93 points!
“The bog-standard riesling but by no means is this off a low base. I loathe the whole comparison to generic wine region conversation in wine commentary, but I couldn’t help but keep saying inside my skull ‘feels Germanic’ when I was tasting this. Germanic means very little of course, but the feel is the point here. Vibe of the thing.

Struck match, flint, wet slate, green herbs and mixed citrus. Has a softness in texture and a cool, crisp interior. Juicy, bright and flavoursome, the wine floods the senses then finishes brittle and mouthwatering. Something bitter-lime-in-tonic-like to close. It’s ripper drinking.”

Mike Bennie, Wine Front, November 2016

Consistent with the now well-established Rieslings produced by Frankland Estate, this wine displays the balance of pristine fruit flavours and laser-like acidity, resulting in an exceptional wine that can be enjoyed now, or cellared with confidence for many years to come. With aromas of white citrus flower and blossom, this wine might at first take you by surprise; married with a lovely combination of lime, saltiness, and spice, the vibrancy of these flavours flows across the palate, highlighting the textural focus of the wine whilst also alluding to the impeccable balance this bottle has in store.
