“The bog-standard riesling but by no means is this off a low base. I loathe the whole comparison to generic wine region conversation in wine commentary, but I couldn’t help but keep saying inside my skull ‘feels Germanic’ when I was tasting this. Germanic means very little of course, but the feel is the point here. Vibe of the thing.

Struck match, flint, wet slate, green herbs and mixed citrus. Has a softness in texture and a cool, crisp interior. Juicy, bright and flavoursome, the wine floods the senses then finishes brittle and mouthwatering. Something bitter-lime-in-tonic-like to close. It’s ripper drinking.”
