The elegantly labelled wines of Castagna come from 4 ha of biodynamically managed estate shiraz and viognier being established (the latter making up 15% of the total). Winemaker Julian Castagna is intent on making wines which reflect the terroir as closely as possible, and declines to use cultured yeast or filtration.James Halliday
