"Faint herbal notes like ferns and wet vegetation then red and black forest fruits, a lift of sweet baking spice and crushed walnuts. The palate is very slender; finely held by willowy tannins with dark berry and black cherry fruit guided long by a tang of briny acidity. Cool, quasi-elegant, juicy and unfettered by binding lines. This is delicious, interesting early drinking, and feels full of vineyard expression rather than winemaking edifice. Henty excitement."
