Prince Albert Pinot Noir 2018

THIS HISTORIC SITE ONLY MAKES PINOT - AND THEY EXCEL AT DOING SO

"A pedigree to rival By Farr and Bannockburn! This is a great chance to grab a well priced wine, perfectly cellared for 6 years which is bursting with personality.

What you get with Prince Albert Pinot Noir, and what we love about it, is its pitch-perfect balance between red berry fruit flavour and those interesting savoury nuances which come from site and also bottle age. Autumn leaf, meat, cinnamon spice, choc hints and earth, it's all there. Every sip is fascinating! It's a one-of-a-kind." - Wine House

"Prince Albert was the founding Vineyard in the Geelong wine region. It only grows Pinot Noir. The site is perfect for the variety. The current vines were planted in 1975 and as we all know older vines make complex and concentrated wine. This is a great chance to grab a well priced wine, perfectly cellared for 6 /7 years which is bursting with personality and has a pedigree that would rival By Farr and Bannockburn.

The colour is a brilliant ruby deep garnet. It is a typical Prince Albert pinot with aromas of dark cherries, cedar, almost into liquorice and rhubarb. The palate is bold and savoury, with fine dusty tannin, poached berries, and a finish of solid length. We recommend breathing before drinking and the indications are that it will last for many years." - Prince Albert Winery
