[SOLD-OUT] Pierre Amadieu Cotes du Rhone Roulepierre 2010

Variety: Grenache, Syrah blend
Appellation: C?

"Bunches of Grenache and Syrah grown on chalk and clay soils are strictly sorted to produce this cuvee. Hand made harvests and traditional wine making process express a pleasant colour together with red and black fruits scents (blackberry, plum). A sweet touch of liquorice enhances the beautiful palate. A mouth filling wine in a pure Rhône style. To drink in its youth (2 years) or within 5 years on a grilled poultry, a roasted veal with an unctuous sauce."
Pierre Amadieu

"A smoking value, the 2010 Pierre Amadieu Roulepierre is a traditionally made blend of Grenache and Syrah that has everything you'd want in a Côtes du Rhône. Sportaing a beautifully pure, classic array of black fruits, pepper, smoked herbs, licorice, and leather, this medium to full-bodied red is voluptuously textured, loaded with fruit, and shows solid frehness and focus on the finish. Turning more mineral driven with air, with an almost saline-like quality, this is a beautiful Côtes du Rhône meant for drinking over the coming 3-4 years."
