[SOLD-OUT] Oratoire St Martin Reserve des Seigneurs Cotes du Rhone 2014

"60% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah. The Res. des Seigneurs is the first of the Domaine's three old-vine, Mourvèdre-rich reds. The Alary vineyards are located on steep hills in predominantly two lieux-dits of Cairanne; Saint-Martin and Les Douyes. For the Reserve des Seigneurs, the brothers blend old vine parcels (average vine age across these plantings is roughly 65 years) of Grenache and Mourvèdre from the former site, and a little Syrah from the latter. 2014 is such a fine, elegant vintage for this cuvée. It's showing fine intensity of juicy strawberry and floral fruit, all very aromatic and fresh, complemented by refreshing spice and fine crisp tannins. An exceptionally pure expression of Cairanne."
