For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
The Level 1 Award in Wines Online covers the same syllabus as the classroom course, but through a supported and interactive Online Classroom.

The course covers
The course is delivered online starting on the 15th of April 2024 and students can study at their own pace, but must complete the course in four weeks by the 12th of May 2024.
A minimum of three hours study per week is recommended to a successful completion of the course. Regular access and participation is essential.
Tasting is an essential part of studying for this course, and you are strongly recommended to taste a minimum of 6 wines (we can supply a suitable tasting pack for the discounted price of $155).
The Course Exam will be held Online on Wednesday the 15th of May 2024 at 12pm (noon, Melbourne time).
Candidates must book in no later than 12pm (noon, Melbourne time) on Friday the 5th of April 2024.
The cost of $300 includes access to our Online Classroom, tuition and examination.
