[SOLD-OUT] Occam's Razor Shiraz 2021

 

"Jasper Hill's Emily McNally’s own label, named after 14th century theologian William of Occam’s philosophy of “less is more”, with a stylised “ < less than” symbol on the label, very applicable to our minimal intervention winemaking methodology.

Having purchased fruit for eighteen years from a vineyard in the south of Heathcote, the vineyard sadly became unavailable. With grapes now sourced from a different Heathcote vineyard, one in the northern part of the Heathcote GI, this is well balanced and forward drinking. 

It has great colour and intense nose, exhibiting the savoury, fresh red fruits and vibrant acidity, typical of Heathcote Shiraz. Highly drinkable now!" - Occam's Razor

 

"Made and released by Jasper Hill, the Shiraz for this great wine hails from a non-estate vineyard in Heathcote's North. Occam’s philosophy was that “less is more” which typifies Emily's minimal intervention approach to winemaking. Emily has made it for well over 20 years and knows a thing or two about Shiraz, having learnt from her legendary parents. This is a deeply flavoured wine that fans pounce upon every year.
