"Brilliant pale straw colour with a suggestion of light gold. The nose is softly full and well-packed with rich aromas of ripe yellow stonefruits, honeysuckle and exotic yellow florals, building in depth with notes of honey, and unfolding a complexing thread of flint and minerals. Off-dry to taste and medium to medium full bodied, the palate features stylishly lush and elegant flavours of ripe yellow stonefruits and pears melded with florals, honeysuckle and minerals. This has delicacy of nuance. The mouthfeel is gently rich with a hint of unctuousness, and is balanced by soft, fine and dry textures, along with soft acidity. The palate is bright and lively, with some underlying alcohol power that carries the wine to a sustained finish with pear notes. This is a stylishly rich, offdry Pinot Gris with stonefruit, pear and honeysuckle notes. Serve with most white meat dishes and Chinese cuisine over the next 4+ years. "

"A very pure and strongly varietal expression of Pinot Gris with classic pear, lanolin, clove/spice and very subtle nutty flavours. Creamy textured wine with a hint of sweetness although the wine finishes fairly dry. I'm not the world's greatest Pinot Gris fan but this wine knocked my socks off. "
