"An aromatic white wine with white fruit fragrances, citrus notes and floral touches. On the palate it is inviting, crisp and refreshing. A medium-bodied wine with a long, creamy finish.
This Torrontes of great typicality comes from the traditional area of Tupungato in Uco Valley. The vines are 40 years old planted with the tralling system called parral at 1000 masl, on clayey soils and rocky subsoil that allows a good drainage. It is harvested by the middle of March. Its vinification is protective, done at a low temperature in concrete eggs fermented with wild yeasts. Aging continues here during six months.
Try it on its own as an aperitif, or enjoy with your favorite food. Just as an apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, a wine cannot be made without a story. My winemaking reflects what I was taught by my family and reflects the passion that characterizes each one of us." - Matias Riccitelli
