" From Mendocino Ridge in California. This is a wine producer owned by Pete Kight of Torbreck wine in the Barossa Valley. It's estate grown fruit here. Greg La Follette has a pretty big name in Californian wine circles. New oak barrels are a feature of this modern-ish feeling Californian styled wine.

Honeydew melon, jasmine, marzipan, ripe stone fruit scents. A wall of chardonnay. Creamy, lush texture, purrs through the palate with stone fruit and baked apple-like flavours. Lots of chardonnay 101, decadent oak presence, but all curled up and flowing with good energy through the palate. Serious chardonnay here. For lovers of bigger white wine presence in the glass, done well. ."
