“Aside the dab of American oak, which lends a gentle sweet vanilla custard and cedar perfume, you’d swear you were drinking some achingly trendy Italian booze. Feels very unforced and unfettered, all sour cherry, sweet lemon and spice with peat and earthy bass. Medium bodied, juicy, with a light sticky glaze of tannin, exotic mouth perfume, strawberry and sour cherry and the vanilla custard oak gussying it up and making it real purdy. Light chalky tannin on a long fresh finish. This is really very good to drink. ”
