This course is for individuals seeking to delve deeper into the world of wines. This course provides a detailed understanding of grape growing and wine making and key styles of wine from around the world.

Upon completion you will be able to assess wines accurately and use your understanding to confidently explain wine style and quality. Upon successful completion you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET certified logo.

It is highly recommended for candidates to complete Level 2 prior to commencing Level 3  

This is a blended course option where students will have access to WSET’s online classroom as well as four two hour tasting sessions on-site in Melbourne. During the tasting sessions students will taste 21 wines from the course specifications in a tutored class setting.

Detailed Course Dates and Times:

• Online Course starts: Monday 22^nd of April 2024 (online)
• Tasting Sessions:
• Saturday 11^th of May 11am-4pm (2x2h sessions) (@Wine House)
• Monday 13^th of May 11am-4pm (2x2h sessions) (@Wine House)
• Online Zoom tutorial: Thursday 23^rd of May 2pm (Zoom)
• Online Course ends: Sunday 23^rd of June 2024 (online)
• Classroom Exam: Wednesday 3^rd of July 2024, 2pm @Wine House

The tasting sessions and exam will be held at Wine House (133 Queens Bridge St, Southbank)

Candidates must book in no later than 12pm (noon, Melbourne time) on Friday the 12^th of April 2024.

A minimum of 10 hours study per week is recommended for a successful completion of the course. Regular access and participation is essential. The course is delivered predominantly online and the student will have 9 weeks to complete the course. The student can study the course material at their own pace within those 9 weeks. The in-classroom tasting sessions will be held at the end of course week 3, and students would benefit from having done at least the first 3 online modules before those sessions.

The cost of $1,390 includes access to WSET's online classroom, online tuition, eBook study pack, 4x2hours tutored tasting sessions and examination.

PLEASE NOTE

• No refunds will be issued within 10 working days prior to the start of the course. Before that period a 75% refund is allowed if a student cancels their enrolment. A 100% refund will apply if Wine House cancels. There is a re-sit exam fee of $230 if a student does not attend the exam for any reason or fails the exam. 

• Your booking details are transferred to WSET for registration. We will ask for your date of birth upon booking to register you with WSET.
