[SOLD-OUT] Chateau Les Paruades Bordeaux Superieur 2016

 

"A blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc to mimic Pomerol, but an attractive and edgy wine in its own right. This left bank wine is more stylistically right bank by way of its more modern, approachable addition of extra merlot. In this case, herbals and amaro well through with liqueur consistency. Quite classy and notably concentrated, with brisk acidity and plenty of structure keeping the wine for its extending cellaring. 

Chateau Les Paruades is located in Macau en Medoc, on the foothills of the Margaux appellation and on the edge of the Gironde. The estate covers an area of 3.5 hectares with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc planted on clayey palus soil.  The vinification process follows the traditional methods of the Médoc, with total destemming and fermentation in stainless steel and concrete vats." - Chateau les Paruades
