Chateau La Fleur Pourret St Emilion Grand Cru 2016

2016 WAS A LEGENDARY VINTAGE FOR ST EMILION!

"This is a fine example of St Emilion Grand Cru with a profile indicating this will age particularly well. Plum and cherry with cocoa and graphite are evident on the nose. The palate is softly textured with nice chalky tannins which are so well encapsulated in the overall balance. A beautiful example and worth putting away to see where time takes it." - Wine House

"Owned and managed by the Mononcourt family who also own Chateau Figeac. Named after the small village called Pourret in St Emilion the wine is made from the Chateau's 4.5 hectare plot on the limestone plateau.

54% Merlot, 40% Franc, 6% Cabernet Franc. Fermented in tank, concrete and epoxy. Aged from 15-18 months with 90% of one year barrels and 10% of new barrels. All seasoned barrels come from Chateau Figeac." - Franc About Wine
