"The perfume is a mix of red berry fruits underscored with dusty, ferrous tones, dried Mediterranean herbs and hints of baking spices and pan juices. It is savoury to taste as well, spice and a hint of volatility evident with dusty tannins adding structure and powdery texture, the spice re-emerging on the lingering finish. Excellence in a classic mould." - Real Review
"Extremely pale, with earthy strawberry, almost olive savouriness, plus bright & intense cinnamon, then on the palate you get silky tannins after a soft and elegant attack full of vibrancy that you don’t want to spit. On the finish, there is a singed touch with long, lifted persistent acidity balancing alcohol. Aged traditionally for 24 months in 45 hectolitre oak vessels." - Decanter
"Treiso. Here’s a fine and somewhat understated wine, which nice to see. Strawberry and raspberry, sage and mint, quite some perfume here too, along with some spice and brick dust earthiness. It’s medium-bodied, kind of earthy and more than a little saline, fresh and while not quite delicate, does have something of a Burgundy feel about it. The tannin is all pumice stone, and the finish pulls savoury and dried herbal, with no shortage of length, flickers of mint/aniseed and white pepper trailing in the aftertaste. A beautiful expression of Pajorè, and so finely wrought. Delightful." - Wine Front
"Pajorè is one of the most renowned crus of the Barbaresco denomination. It enjoys a consolidated reputation thanks also to the cult wines of Giovanni Moresco (now almost unobtainable), who was the first to vinify it in purity in 1967. The rows have a very steep, almost terraced layout which enhances the excellent exposure to the south, south -west . Terrains, altitudes and exposures give this Barbaresco expressions of absolute class, a classic and elegant structure, well-defined and profoundly balanced.
