Peppermint and brush are classical Touriga Nacional aromatics, and they lead here, with some nice Syrah-like velvet-spice purple fruit in behind, crushed limestone soil aromatics lift it nicely along with lots of dried herb and spice. Dry, with load of dried herb, meatiness and I can't stop thinking about a lamb roast! Tannin and nice natural fruit acidity complete the picture and it really is a perfect foil to fatty meats.
