Wine List/Yeringberg

[SOLD-OUT] Yeringberg Pinot Noir 2010

"Spicy character and long, sinewy length. Has ageability " and quality " written all over it. Sawdusty oak, cloves, fresh and stewed red berries, simultaneous power and restraint. Long tendrils of tannin and spice-shot flavour are the keys here."
Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front, May 2012

"Matured in 30% new wood and aged for a total of 19 months in barrel, the 2010 Pinot Noir displays a pale to medium ruby-purple color and notes of ripe raspberries and warm strawberries over hints of underbrush, moss covered tree bark and cinnamon stick. Light to medium-bodied, it offers a great amount of warm red berry and spice flavors in the mouth with a low to medium level of silky tannins, medium-high / balanced acid and a long finish. Drink it now to 2016+."
Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate #201 Jun 2012

"There's definitely something about Pinot and vine age, as this effortlessly concentrated wine shows. It's elegant, pure and spicy, with wild strawberry and cherry liqueur richness, and a primal, cherry pip bitterness on the palate. Firmly structured, with driving, expansive length on the back palate, this is seriously classy."
