Dry apricot, spice, melon, crisp green apples, underlying honeycomb, wisps of lees and smoke. Gorgeous Rhone-styled white wine. Length, complexity, texture and difference. I mentioned the complexity of this wine to Sandra de Pury and she said words to the effect of, "The strange thing is that we do very little to it. It's just the way the wine wants to be." This 2012 is a beauty."
