It just has a timelessness to it. It sits outside fashion. It's a lean, crisp style of chardonnay but it's not underdone or razor-sharp; it's low in oak but not unoaked; it's easy-going, in a way, but give it time in the glass and it unfolds. It's grainy and tight on the finish. I looked at it over 24 hours and every time I tasted it, it rose in my estimation."
