[SOLD-OUT] Yalumba Menzies Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

The red wines begin with the 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon "The Menzies" sourced from Coonawarra. It was aged for 19 months in French and American oak, 45% new. Inky purple-colored, it offers up aromas of toasty oak, eucalyptus, spearmint, and black currants. Clearly the product of a cool climate, it is well balanced, with ripe fruit, moderate levels of tannin, and excellent length. It will evolve for several years and drink well through 2016.
