Wine Front 93+ Points!"From strength to strength. No malo, sat on lees for 10 months, had a good time too I hear. I have a yen for 'the Yabby Lake style' and think Tom Carson is clever at making grapes into wine of finesse by pretty much letting them do their own thing.
Faintly pale gold colour then tees off with quartzy minerality, lifted sweet spice and lemon/lime citrus rind. A whisper of oak floats in the bouquet and presents as lathed and fine in the palate. Trim and precise, the wine drives with sweeter grapefruit flavours then slate and wet stone minerality to finish. May polarise for style in its anorexic form, but has an intensity and fineness to crow about. Oh, and for heaven's sake, it's flavoursome to drink."
