Wine Front 94+ Points!"50% whole bunch. About 11 months in 10-15% new oak puncheons.
Bold aromas of red cherry, cranberry, earth, five spice and gamey charcuterie with a hint of lathed wood. In the mouth, purity of fruit, lightness but a depth of flavour " shy though, behind its mother's skirts with firming fine tannins and the outer boundaries of oak derived structure. Far from an oak bonded wine, this is intense, coiled fruit that unfurls with gentle sweetness of red fruits and spice with supple texture. Will evolve superbly."

"Coming from 100% Pommard clone and using 50% whole bunches, the 2010 Block 6 Single Block Release Pinot Noir has a medium-deep ruby-purple color and aromas of Indian spices, cumin seed and cloves over warm cranberry and pomegranate plus some raspberries and dusty earth. Medium bodied with a good amount of mid-palate fruit, this is a structured style with medium-firm chewy tannins, high acid and a long clean finish."
