This is substantially more open and giving than the Reserve cabernet of the same year. As a result it's more immediately impressive. Bay leaves and blackcurrant, flashes of dust and mulberry and undergrowth. Oak has settled beautifully into the fruit. Aromatic, flavoursome, tidy and well structured. Length is not an issue. Quality is excellent."
