Dark fruits including blackberry with liquorice, Oriental spices and classy French oak. A powerful, muscular wine that’s great to drink now but promises much more in time." - Bob Campbell

 

"Good depth of red with a purple tint, the bouquet discreet, reserved and plum, vanilla, chocolate scented. Blackberry jam notes, the palate soft and the tannins smooth, oak is very sensitively handled. The wine seems less full-bodied than usual. Nice balance, but it arguably lacks a bit of detail at this stage. Cellar it for best results." - Huon Hook
