'lean, pure, elegant expression of Coonawarra shiraz. So clean and straight-laced I'm tempted to call it clinical. Spice-shot plums/raspberries, cinnamon doughnuts, cedarwood, white pepper and more robust blackberry/boysenberry. Fine web of tannin gains assertiveness as it rests in the glass. It's not clumsy as it finishes but the tannin/fruit combination hasn't quite ironed itself out either. Will age long term.'
