Delicate, ethereal and musky, its dusty and peppery bouquet of spicy small black and red berries is tightly knit with fine-grained cedar/vanilla oak. There's a meaty varietal quality about its exceptionally long palate of intense sweet berry and plum fruit, which is framed by a firm but pliant spine of polished tannin. Uncorked - 5 stars!"Wynn's premier Coonawarra shiraz is less oaky and more subtle than the Michaels of a few years ago. The 2004 edition is still unevolved with inky, raw aromas of boiled-down black fruits, spice and cedar. It tastes concentrated with excellent ripe varietal flavour, texture and fine, ripe tannins."
