"From our 30 year old vines, unirrigated and low yielding. Aged in new and old French oak barriques for 18 months.
One of our best vintages of this style. This wine shows riper fruit and more toasty oak than the 2000, and in our opinion will surpass it in the years to come.
Great depth of crimson colour with loads of rich mulberry and mint flavours combining with the new French oak to give a mouth filling sensation of richness, terrific length of palate and impeccable balance.
