"The pride and joy of the Zantvoort family"
Only 40 minutes from Melbourne & just 2 minutes off the Peninsula Link Freeway at Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula, you will find the beautiful Stumpy Gully Vineyard, one of the longest running family wineries on the Mornington Peninsula. A family owned and operated Winery, Stumpy Gully has been in the Zantvoort family for thirty years and is now in the hands of the second generation of Vintners.
Having grown up among the vines at Stumpy Gully when his parents moved there and established the vineyard in 1989, owner and winemaker Michael quickly fell in love with farm life. Michael studied Agriculture at Melbourne University’s Dookie Campus, and has since worked in all aspects of the business from viticulture and winemaking to marketing and sales.
As a second generation winemaker and viticulturalist Michael says “it’s both a privilege and a challenge to take over from my parents. My goal is to continue to reach the benchmark of style and quality they set for me.”
Stumpy Gully’s wide range of wines reflects the diversity of the vineyard locations and the planted grape varieties.
