Schild Estate

"Schild Estate first established vineyards in the Southern Barossa Valley in 1952. Now with 11 unique vineyards in the area they specialise in premium, estate grown shiraz, old bush vine grenache and mourvedre. The winemaking team, led by Scott Hazeldine, work closely with Michael Schild, head vigneron, throughout out the year to produce wines of balance, interest and character that reflect the unique subtleties of the Southern sub-region. Schild Estate are best known for their flagship wine, Moorooroo Shiraz, which is harvested from original Barossa vines planted by Johan and William Jacob in 1847. The Moorooroo Shiraz has been rated 99points by James Halliday for the last three vintages (2015, 2016 and 2017)." - Wine Companion
