"Cinnamon, cacao, licorice, celery salt, rusted iron and dark plums. It opens with some apparent sweetness but time in the glass reveals a savoury and substantial wine. Very fine and delicate without being either masculine nor particularly feminine. It speaks of the cool red soils of South Gippsland and a unique season. Approachable now but benefits greatly from 24hrs in decanter."
