Plum, black tea and tar, blueberry, licorice, cocoa and dried herb perfume. Medium bodied, almost silky and supple, with a beautiful run of fine grained tannin, fresh acidity and a savoury/fruit sweet finish of immaculate length. Has a bit of X factor, and feels composed and self-assured, even as a young wine. Excellent.
