"A powerful shiraz with structure, fruit and presence. It's still rather closed at present but unfolds deep aromas of blackberries, cranberries, cassis and dark plums backed by dusty suggestions of cloves, leather and lightly mocha-like vanilla oak. Sumptuous and succulent, its concentrated expression of dark fruits and olives reveals hints of currant but still deliver plenty of genuine ripeness and vibrancy. Framed by drying, fine-grained and mouth-coating tannins, it finishes with a lingering meatiness and the presence of dark olives and currants. Should develop very well."
