An assertive, powerful shiraz with fragrant, meaty aromas of sweet berries, overtones of spicy prunes, currants and plums, plus a suggestion of black pepper. Richly structured, but lacking its customary core of vibrant fruit, it's perhaps a wine of shorter-term cellaring than usual from this vineyard.
