"Not a great year for Wendouree, even the colour tells a tale, but great vineyards and producers invariably turn out good wines.
Blackcurrant, mocha, mint and aniseed, cedar, some floral perfume. Medium-bodied, intense small berried dark fruit, black olive rolled in dried herb, more built on glassy acidity than tannin, through tannin is there, lightly chalky and grippy. Finish is firm, fresh, and pretty long. Acidity and frozen berries in the aftertaste." - Gary Walsh, Wine Front
