"If there's anything in particular I really like about Wendouree, then it's their Malbec. Blackcurrant, boysenberry, a fair layer of cedar oak, aniseed, and that blue coloured thing going on " violets and blue skinned plums. Medium to full bodied, clearly defined with firm powdery, almost milky tannin, some subtle astringency on the finish, but all up a very good wine. It's maybe the best, most complete, red I've tasted from this South Australian vintage"
