Jeremy Oliver 97 points!Maryann and Reg Egan have crafted a spotless, typically fruit-focused and pristine chardonnay whose pure, almost essential presence of fruit reveals an artfully balanced underswell of complexity and finely mineral texture. Thankfully, it's poles apart from the current Yarra movement towards green fruit, tart acidity and simple oak, and unashamedly flaunts its sheer, exuberant richness and depth of fruit flavour. I can think of dozens of winemakers who should try it.
