"Sourcing from Vaillons, meaning valley, one the most prestigious vineyards on the left bank of Chablis, the Vocoret family's expressive and intense Chablis is like a finely wrought spring. Concentration is key, and the wine's crisp acidity promises extra dimension for those with patience. Even now, it leaves a compelling impression with its powerful and long palate of green apple, wet stone, fine dried herb and seaspray flavour.
The Vocoret family is one of the oldest families in Chablis, with all generations of the family having been born in the heart of the old village of Chablis. Founded by Edouard Vocoret in 1870, Domaine Vocoret et Fils, a family business for four generations, has always strived to perpetuate and develop the vineyard with, as the primary objective, respect for the terroir and constant improvement. Wine making and production has remained traditional with the use of large wooden foudres during ageing, while bottling is carried out exclusively at the property." - Wine House
"Chablis 2021 is a vintage full of vibrant acidity, one which shows a particularly strong terroir influence, and has produced wines which will reward careful cellaring.” - Decanter Magazine
