The nose shows lifted aromas of ripe fruits such as plum, black cherry, and a fine spice blend of cinnamon and liquorice. The full palate of rich black cherry, juicy plum, and black pepper spice has fine silky tannins and exceptional length – leaving a dark chocolate aftertaste for that lasting impression. Decant for at least 1 hour.
Old vines, Blewitt Springs, sand over clay. Small batch ferment, hand harvested, 15 days skin contact. Pressed to new and older French oak hogsheads, 12 months maturation, the finest barrels are selected prior to blending and an additional 12 months oak maturation." - Ulithorne
