"Well, I was going to taste this over two days and do a thorough job of it, but it turns out the bloke at work pinched the bottle. Bugger took the wrong one by accident but I suppose these things happen. Picture shows cork but this is screwcap.
Pretty big and expressive for a young semillon with typical citrus and waxy aromatics but also showing sweeter fruits like mango and peach. On the palate soft and round with lemon, orange and mango fruit and some clean sherbetty acid. Good finish. A more gentle Vat 1 that drinks well now and should cellar nicely over the medium term."
