"Very ripe and flavoursome shiraz which despite a rather clunky, sour-edged finish of raw tannins does deliver some delicious flavour. It's rich and chocolatey, with ripe aromas of plums, cassis and prunes over smoky mocha/vanilla oak. Meaty, nutty and savoury, the palate offers similar depth and flavour. Like many Two Hands reds, however, it just lacks the cut and polish of the best examples. Drink 2004-2007+."

"The blockbuster 2002 Shiraz Bella's Garden (300 cases) boasts a dense ruby/purple color as well as aromas and flavors of smoke, graphite, lard, black currants, and cherries. This medium to full-bodied, elegant Shiraz reveals beautiful integration of wood, an expansive texture, and a natural mouthfeel. The result of impeccable winemaking from top-notch vineyard sources, it is another example of winemaker Matt Wenk and Michael Twelftree's talents. It should drink well for a decade."
Robert Parker, Wine Advocate # 155.
