Dark purple. A intensely perfumed bouquet evokes dark berry liqueur, incense, potpourri and cola, with a smoky mineral nuance building as the wine opens in the glass. Juicy, seamless and alluringly sweet, offering concentrated blueberry, cherry-cola and floral pastille flavors and a strong suggestion of spicecake. This utterly palate-staining wine comes off as vibrant, even graceful, with silky tannins adding shape and grip to the extremely long finish.
