'This is 70% Barossa Valley fruit and 30% Eden Valley fruit and all shiraz. Struie has been about power of Barossa meeting aromatics and high tone acidity from Eden ' and all sent to old oak.

Dense perfume layered with rose petal, potent blackberry fruit, garrigue savouriness and a whiff of dusty, earthiness, but always a sweetness underlying. Really pleasing. Muscular, meaty and rich to taste, though the freshness of acidity and satin-touch to texture helps the wine slide across the palate. There's a lick of sweeter fruit sliding through the wine, pleasing and making it easier to drink. Well-shaped, sleek, concentrated but with freshness and form. This looks good, drink young.'
